ALDI, Smoothie King to Join Olive Crossing

SAINT LOUIS, MO – January 19, 2024 – Keeley Properties and KEAT Properties are excited to announce the addition of ALDI and Smoothie King to Olive Crossing. ALDI is set to break ground this summer, taking over a 2.55 acre parcel of the 14.8 acre mixed use development. The new ALDI store will provide approximately 12,000 square feet of retail space within an approximately 22,000 square foot building and a unique shopping experience that will save the residents of Olivette and surrounding communities both time and money.


“We are proud to partner with ALDI at Olive Crossing and bring their unique model to Olivette,” said Greg Yawitz, CEO of KEAT Properties. “As one of the fastest growing retailers in the U.S., ALDI is a staple in so many people’s lives and will provide the city with its first grocery store in over 20 years.”


ALDI and Smoothie King join Paris Baguette as the first retail tenants fronting Olive Crossing. Paris Baguette, a neighborhood bakery café, and Smoothie King will anchor the west storefronts of the retail building at the corner of Olive Boulevard and I-170, while the ALDI building will anchor the corner of Olive and Price Road.


“The design of the buildings will complement the aesthetic of The Clover, our luxury apartment residence that opened over the summer,” said Jason Braidwood, President of Keeley Properties. “We’ve been very deliberate about the architectural experience across the development to create an elevated, yet authentic atmosphere.”

Keeley and KEAT are actively negotiating with multiple tenants to lease the approximately 6,000 square feet remaining in the retail building, which will deliver in 2024.
